A destination management company sells a programme, not a series of components. Ground transport has to behave as part of that programme, which means committed capacity, predictable standards, and a supplier who understands that the itinerary is the product.
DMC arrangements are built around a programme rather than individual bookings: capacity reserved against known dates, vehicle classes matched to the programme's positioning, and a single operational contact across the whole event rather than per movement.
Working the programme
We prefer to be involved while the programme is still being costed, because ground transport assumptions made early are the ones that cause trouble later, particularly around transfer times between venues and realistic loading windows for large groups. Where a proposed schedule will not hold operationally, it is considerably cheaper to know at the proposal stage.
